East Coast regional honey producer Wild Cape has selected ExportX to take its UMF manuka honey from New Zealand to the USA.
The East Coast region encompasses the easternmost tip of New Zealand’s North Island, stretching from the Mahia Peninsula up to New Zealand’s remote East Cape, for which Wild Cape honey is named.
Sparsely populated, the East Coast region is renowned for its spectacular sandy Pacific Ocean beaches and beautiful bush-clad hills.
At Wild Cape, Bill Savage and his beekeeping team specialise in the production of manuka honey from the wild East Cape region of New Zealand, ensuring that beehives are in optimal condition to collect the prized nectar from the native manuka forests.
After the bees have stored the honey it is carefully collected and then extracted at the Wild Cape facility near Gisborne. Extensive samples are independently tested for the honey’s unique manuka factor (UMF®) so that the finest certified honey can be selected to go into each Wild Cape honey jar for export.
ExportX is making it easy for Wild Cape honey to go to the USA.”
“As a regional honey producer it can be challenging for us to reach customers in export markets, as we don’t have the international marketing expertise in-house. ExportX is making it easy for Wild Cape honey to go to the USA,” said Bill Savage, Wild Cape Managing Director.
